We are to calculate the maximum probability of pregnancy for my human sexuality couse and the effect it has on the sexual psyche of involved individuals. This is a mathematical and subjective question.

1) Condom use is approx. 97% effective (Perfect Use)
2) Birth Control XYZ is approx 99.99% effective (Perfect Use)
3) Withdrawl method is approx 50% efective (Perfect Use)

Assuming all three methods are used simultaneously, what is the maximum probability of pregnancy? I have no clue where to begin this math....

Part Two: How safe do you feel with your partner when practicing one, two, or all methods mentioned above?

Part Two B: Do you feel taking part in multiple safe sex practices lessens the enjoyment and anticipation of sex?

The math is easy, but takes some time to do.

Starting with birth control, you have a probability of 1 in 10,000 of getting pregnant. That gets cut down by another 97% for condoms, which gives you 3 out of 100, so that drops your rate to 3 in 1,000,000. then drop that rate by 50 in 100, which makes the final probability 15 in 10,000,000

Or, if you perfer, that's .0000015 probability of getting pregnant. (To do the math, just set them all up as fractions and multiply them out, the top numbers times the top numbers, and the bottom numbers by the bottom numbers.

Part 2: I feel perfectly safe when using birth control. I've never used any of the other methods.

Part 3: I didn't feel that birth control took anything away from the experience.
